The towing management module allows pilots to submit towing demands in advance, automatically notifies the relevant people, and enables operating day activation with a single click from email.
As a pilot – submitting a towing demand

Open the desired day in the operating day calendar.

Enter your towing demand: requested takeoff time, aircraft, and an optional comment.

After submitting, you are automatically subscribed to the operating day and will receive a notification when it is activated.
Automatic email notifications

When a new operating day is opened, all users with pilot role receive a notification.

When the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th etc. participant subscribes, administrators receive another notification.

If someone is both an admin and a pilot, they receive only one notification.

The email includes the requester's details, requested takeoff time, aircraft, and current subscriber count.
As an administrator – activating the operating day

If there is no coordinator or tow pilot assigned yet, a red warning appears in the notification email.

By clicking the "Activate operating day" button, you automatically become the coordinator and/or tow pilot.

The button is valid for 7 days.

After clicking, the system opens the operating day page in your browser.
After activation – notification to all participants

Upon activation, all subscribed participants receive an email notification.

The email includes the date, organisation name, assigned staff names, and subscriber count.
Important notes

This feature is only available for organisations with the towing management module enabled.

All notifications are fully automatic — no manual sending is required.

The activation button is only visible to administrators in the email.
